WHY WORK WITH ME?

 

Charity finance isn’t the same as business finance.

It requires an understanding of governance, trustees’ responsibilities, restricted funds, funding requirements and the unique financial challenges charities face.

For more than 15 years, I’ve worked with charities of all sizes, supporting finance teams, leadership teams and trustees to understand their finances and make informed decisions. 

Alongside my client work, I’m Treasurer of the BDD Foundation and Sector 3, as well as serving on several boards in finance and governance roles. These positions give me first-hand experience of charity governance, strategic decision-making and the financial responsibilities trustees carry.

As a CIMA Fellow and experienced finance trainer, I specialise in making finance accessible and understandable, helping trustees and charity leaders feel confident discussing financial information and making strategic decisions.

I’m also passionate about supporting charities to strengthen their financial reporting and maintain compliance with the Charities SORP, ensuring financial information is meaningful, transparent and supports good governance.
