Since 2019, I’ve worked alongside Community Interest Companies at every stage of their journey, helping them understand their finances, strengthen their systems and make informed decisions.

As Treasurer of Sector 3, I work closely with the local CIC community, supporting organisations through practical finance training, one-to-one advice and hands-on finance support. I’ve helped CIC leaders understand their numbers, prepare statutory accounts, improve financial reporting and build the confidence to make better financial decisions.

It’s given me first-hand insight into the challenges CICs face — from balancing grants and trading income to meeting governance requirements and planning for long-term sustainability.

As a CIMA Fellow and experienced finance trainer, I’m passionate about making finance accessible, practical and easy to understand.
